Rotaract
Rotaract is a Rotary International sponsored youth program and 501 (c)(3) service organization for individuals under the age of 30. Community based Rotaract clubs generally consist of men and women who have graduated from college and have 0-5 years of working experience. The three pilars of Rotaract are Community Service, Leadership Development, and Professional Development. Main differences between Rotaracters and Rotarians are: 1) age, 2) career experience and 3) income. Rotarians serve as mentors to Rotaracters.
The Rotaract Club of Davis (District 5160)
Chartered in 1999, the Rotaract Club of Davis is composed of a dynamic group of professionals aged 21 to 30 (median age 24) who have a passion for serving our community and organizations abroad and enjoy socializing and networking with Davis business owners and civic leaders.
We support our sponsor, the Rotary Club of Davis, by volunteering at the annual Woodland County Fair Rotary beer booth, the annual CAPP benefit dinner, and the annual Rotary BBQ held in Central Park. We consistently gain from their leadership and expert advice and are thankful for the speakers they provide for our meetings and members that support us at various events.
Socials and volunteer service opportunities occur about once a month. All activities are voluntary. For more information, contact the Rotaract Club of Davs via e-mail at info [at] davisrotaract.org.
We also pair up with the Campus Rotaract Club of Davis (for college students, aged 18-21) as well as the Interact Club of Davis (for high-school students).
