On Friday afternoon, Feb. 20th, Rotaract fostered (just for the evening) four dogs to prep them for adoption at the Farmer’s Market. We picked them up from the shelter in Woodland, walked them in the park, bathed them, and watched a movie with them (Pride and Prejudice!). The dogs (terriers and one chiwawa) are from Dog Spot Rescue, an organization that saves dogs and puppies from abandonment, euthanization at shelters, and neglect from overwhelmed owners. If we do this again, we will take only 2-3 dogs and accept only females (no humping or marking territory!). It was certainly a night of service!!
Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays each month from 6:30pm – 7:30pm at the Hallmark Inn (110 F St)
